// hi, I’m Nils

I build tools I actually use.

Indie developer. When something in my day keeps getting in the way, I build the fix. Then I use it every day until it feels effortless.

Currently: getting Fokuno ready for launch

Things I’ve built

01

Fokuno

You know what to do. Fokuno makes sure you actually start.

Write the task down. Fokuno finds the time in your calendar and meets you there with one button: Start.

About

I’m Nils, an indie developer. I build software for my own days first. When you use a tool every day you feel every rough edge, so I keep sanding until nothing gets in the way.

Fokuno began as a small focus widget on my own desktop. Today it runs on Windows, on the web, on phones, on Garmin watches, on the Stream Deck and in the browser.

What I build with

  • Rust
  • Tauri
  • TypeScript
  • Astro
  • Supabase
  • Expo
  • Monkey C
  • Calm over cleverFew buttons, clear words, nothing blinking for attention.
  • Fast, alwaysEvery click in the Fokuno desktop app has a budget of 100 milliseconds.
  • Built for day 100I use what I build every day, so the small annoyances get fixed first.
